Bandanas on dogs, is it just a fad that’s popular in cool places like Aspen and Lake Tahoe? It is indicative of people who love the outdoors and live in the country? I don’t know, I just know that I have put bandanas on my dogs for years, even when I lived in the city. I think bandanas on dogs are a fashion statement that makes your dog look not only cool, but says something about you and your dog.
Dog Bandanas Are Cool
I also think the dog knows he or she looks cool with a bandana on. When I take mine off my dogs to wash them, they act like they miss having them on. Or maybe I’m projecting my own thoughts.
Dog bandanas can also be functional. There is a store on-line that sells dog bandanas that have a pocket for your doggie poopie bag. They call them Dog BagDanas. I always hated carrying those darn bags, now my dogs can carry their own. A great idea I say, which I’d thought of it.
I have bandanas for my dogs for every occasion, Halloween, Christmas, Fall, Valentines Day, 4th of July, St Patricks Day, to name a few. I also have bandanas for my favorite sports teams. I often get comments when I’m out around town with my dogs wearing their bandanas.
Fashion statement or just a cool thing for your dog to wear, I’m not sure, but I do know, just a woman can’t have enough shoes, a dog can’t have enough bandanas!
